Retake Policy
Summative Assessments - students may retake a summative assessment (quiz, test, etc.) if they score below an 80 on the original. The maximum possible score for the retake will be an 80. The retake assessment may or may not be in the same format, that will be discussed between the student and teacher. In order to retake the assessment students must adhere to the following guidelines:
Formative Assessments - formative assessments (classwork, homework, etc.) are completed daily and students are responsible for using their resources to proficiently complete these assessments. If a student scores low on a formative assessment he/she may discuss possible make-up with teacher for a better grade.

- Student must have original assessment signed by a parent
- Student must correct the original assessment and submit it to the teacher
- Student must complete retake assessment within one week of getting original back
- Student may retake assessment during interventions block or before and/or after school
